Meet Our Team

Christopher has over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, starting as a kennel tech in Escondido and working his way up to office manager through roles in assisting and supervision. He joined Cheshire Cat in August 2015. A lifelong animal lover, Christopher has a special passion for cats, which makes Cheshire Cat the perfect fit. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys playing music, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his wife Cheryl and their Maine Coon, Samson.

Gema is a Certified Veterinary Assistant who graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2021 and currently serves as a receptionist at Cheshire Clinic. She is dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive experience for both patients and their owners, with a special love for cats and a commitment to helping them feel safe and comfortable. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching anime, playing video games, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family- especially her cat, Nini.

Lili has been in the veterinary field since she was 18 back in 2022 and has a special passion for feline medicine. Her experience with animal handling began in 2020, when she ran her own grooming and dog-training business. She earned her Veterinary Assistant certification and an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology at Pima Medical Institute and is dedicated to providing gentle, low-stress care for every cat she meets. Her passion extends beyond the clinic, as she also spends time caring for pets outside of work to help their owners.

At home, she's a proud pet mom of her 2 dogs, Luna and Cholo, and 3 cats, Reina, Paco, and Poncho!

Valentina has dedicated most of her life to working with animals. Her journey began early, as she grew up in a family involved in animal welfare. From a young age, she gained hands-on experience fostering cats and kittens and working with feral cat populations. This lifelong involvement has shaped her passion for animal care and her commitment to ensuring every patient receives the compassion and support they deserve.

When she's at home, she's busy being a pet mom to her 2 cats, Hennessy and Halo, and her dog, Gunner.

Michelle has been in the veterinary field for over a decade and has been part of the Cheshire Cat Clinic team since 2022. She is trained in feline-friendly, low-stress handling techniques and is passionate about helping each patient feel safe and comfortable during their visit. Michelle values building a special bond with every cat in her care to create a positive experience.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her two cats, select humans, and her houseplants.
